When your current module is filled, just unscrew it and pop in a brand‑new additional one keeping your premium bee box ready for the next wave of bee nesting.
It keeps your Premium Bee Observation Box ready to welcome bees again and again.
In warm weather, bees fill a module fast, so it's always handy to have a fresh one ready to swap in throughout the season.
The tubes don’t stay empty for long as it is also beneficial for other bees and potter wasps that share the same space.

How many bees can your bundle support?
Each removable nesting module has seven nesting rows, with room for around 7–9 pollen-provisioned nesting cells per row when fully occupied. That gives a potential capacity of approximately 49–63 nesting cells per module. Your bundle includes the Premium box with its nesting module plus one extra Fresh Nesting Module.
The capacity above is per module, not a guaranteed number of emerging bees. Occupancy and successful emergence vary with nesting activity, local conditions and losses such as parasites.

Fit a fresh nesting module into your existing Premium BeeLife Box.
Easy Module Change
To swap modules, simply unscrew the two side screws
(as shown with the white arrows). These are the only screws used for
changing modules. Lift the module out and pop in a fresh one.
The top and bottom screws are different - they’re only used when you’re harvesting cocoons, then inspecting and cleaning each chamber ready for spring.
A fresh, clean home means healthier solitary bees and a thriving garden.
Make Your Garden Bee‑Ready
Solitary bees are tiny pollination pros, and helping them out is surprisingly easy.
Give them a home
Sunny, sheltered spots are ideal. Bee boxes, hollow stems and natural nooks all do the job.

Two‑Phase Bee Box Care Guide
Our bee boxes are low‑maintenance and made from natural, weather‑resistant wood. To keep things bee‑ready:
Daily:
- Remove any cobwebs so the entrance stays clear for visiting bees.
- Check if your module is filled - if it is, simply swap it for a fresh one to welcome the next wave of bees.
Autumn:
- After harvesting, clean out each chamber - scrape away the mud, use a fine little paintbrush to brush out the crumbs, and leave everything fresh and ready for next season.
Winter:
- Store your cleaned, empty box indoors to protect it through the colder months -your box is reusable year after year.
All year round:
- Avoid painting or treating the wood with chemicals. Bees prefer it natural.
